ACBA and YLD Compete In First Ever South Jersey Dragon Boat Race
On Saturday, July 9th, members of the YLD teamed up with members from the ACBA to compete in the first ever South Jersey Dragon Boat Festival to benefit Gilda’s Club South Jersey. Our team was made up of 22 paddlers and 1 drummer. The festival began early at 8:30 am, with the first heat beginning at 9:30am. Our races took place at 9:50am and 1:30pm. Despite some of us never having met before, we were able to work together as a team and finished second in both of our races!

Another Successful Children's Holiday Party Hosted by the YLD
Today the ACBA Young Lawyers Division hosted 60 students from two Title I Schools in Atlantic County at the Atlantic County Civil Courthouse for the Children's Holiday Party. YLD Members Wrap 300 Gifts for Children's Holiday Party
We are happy to announce that last night we finished wrapping all 300 hundred gifts for the Children's Holiday Party!! It took about 20 rolls of wrapping paper, an immeasurable amount of tape, and 3 hours of skilled (well, sort of) labor to wrap all of the gifts, but we finished wrapping everything in one night, which is always our goal. Last night the Young Lawyers Division hosted the Annual ACBA Holiday Party at the Knife & Fork Inn in Atlantic City.
