Meet the ACBA Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee:
The ACBA Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee is appointed each year by the Executive Board. Committee members are nominated by their peers and are appointed at a general meeeting of the YLD membership. The Executive Committee works as a team to help the YLD achieve its goals.
David Little, Esq.
Director of Event Planning

David is currently an Assistant Prosecutor at the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Prior to joining the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, he was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable W. Todd Miller, J.S.C. David graduated in 2016 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where he earned a degree in Political Science. David earned his J.D. from Widener University – Delaware Law School in 2019. David is a life-long resident of Atlantic County.
Dennis Tuohy
Co-Director of
Community Outreach

Dennis is currently clerking for the Honorable Judge Michael J. Blee, A.J.S.C. Prior to becoming a law clerk, Dennis interned for Judge Blee while he was the P.J.Ch., interned as a student-attorney for Delaware Law School's Environmental Law Clinic, summered at Fox Rothschild, and externed for Associate Justice Solomon of the NJ Supreme Court. Dennis graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Economics in 2019. He subsequently attended Widener University Delaware Law School, where he was the External Managing Editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and ran several law societies, graduating cum laude in May of 2022.
Dennis is a lifelong resident of Atlantic City, NJ, and even obtained his first job through participating in an Atlantic City PAL program for city youth. He is excited to help serve and give back to the community in which he lives.
Kyle Gornick
Director of Public Relations

Kyle is currently clerking for the Honorable James H. Pickering, Jr., J.S.C. in Cape May Court House. Prior to commencing his clerkship, Kyle graduated from Duke University in 2019, having majored in Political Science, minored in History, and completed a certificate in Policy Journalism and Media Studies. Kyle received his J.D. in 2022 from Rutgers Law School – Newark, where he was active in the Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic. In his free time, Kyle enjoys taking walks, watching movies, and keeping up with Duke Basketball.
Sarah Powell Lee, Esq.
Director of Fundraising

Sarah works as a Staff Attorney at South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. in their Atlantic City office. She graduated from Drexel Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2021, and clerked for the Hon. Michael J. Blee, A.J.S.C., from August 2021-August 2022. In addition to her service with the Young Lawyer’s Division of the ACBA, Sarah is an active member of the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court. When Sarah is not working, she enjoys backpacking, hiking, camping, and playing board games with her husband and her children (ages 10 and 13).
Thomas Gualtieri
Co-Director of Community Outreach

Tommy is currently a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey Wilson, Superior Court Judge in the Criminal Division of Atlantic County. Tommy is a South Jersey native and has always had an interest in criminal law, eventually achieving his bachelor's degree in Law and Justice from Rowan University in 2018. After earning his bachelor's degree, Tommy worked in the Gloucester County Municipal Court system and later attended Widener University Delaware Law School where he achieved his Juris Doctor in 2022.
Emanuel Sanfilippo
Director of Finance

Emanuel Sanfilippo III is currently a Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Michael J. Blee, A.J.S.C. Emanuel also performs various work for the Hon. M. Susan Sheppard, P.J.Ch. in Chancery. He graduated from Seton Hall University cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration. Emanuel earned his J.D. at Widener University, Delaware Law School. While at Delaware Law School, he interned for the Hon. Bernard E. DeLury, Jr., P.J.Cr. and clerked for Hankin Sandman Palladino Weintrob & Bell, P.C. Emanuel passed the New Jersey Bar Exam and hopes to continue working in Southern New Jersey upon the completion of his clerkship. Emanuel is a life-long resident of Atlantic County out of Hammonton, New Jersey. Emanuel’s hobbies include baking cookies and cakes, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
Rachel Koutishian
Director of Mentoring Program

Rachel is currently the law clerk to The Honorable Judge Sheppard, P.J.Ch. in Atlantic and Cape May County Superior Courts. Prior to her clerkship, Rachel interned at the New Jersey Office of Parental Representation, as well as Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Rachel received a B.A. in Music from Rowan University in 2019 and received her J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2022, with a pro bono distinction. In her free time, Rachel enjoys running, playing video games, and traveling.
