ACBA and CMCBA Young Lawyers Team Up to Host CLE Dinner
The ACBA and CMCBA Young Lawyers Divisions have decided to team up and host a CLE Dinner for both local bars.
On April 23, 2015, the YLDs will host a Panelist Dinner at the iconic Congress Hall in Cape May. The dinner will begin promptly at 6:00pm, with a cocktail hour to begin at 5:30p.m.
The dinner will feature 5 panelists: The Honorable Michael A. Donio, J.S.C. and Presiding Judge of the Atlantic County Criminal Division; The Honorable Raymond A. Batten, J.S.C. and Presiding Judge of the Atlantic and Cape May Counties Chancery Division; The Honorable J. Christopher Gibson, J.S.C. of the Cape May County Civil Division; the Honorable Jeffrey D. Light, J.S.C. of the Atlantic County Family Division; and The Honorable Louis J. Belasco, Jr., Presiding Judge of the Cape May County Municipal Division.
The panelists will answer questions submitted by members of the ACBA and CMCBA in advance. The Q&A session will be moderated by Julie E. Nugent, Esq., Chair-Elect of the ACBA Young Lawyers Division, and Christopher Gillan-Schwartz, Esq., Chair of the CMCBA Young Lawyers Division. If you would like to submit a question to be posed to the panelists during the dinner, please email Julie or Chris by April 16.
The panelists will try to get through as many questions as possible. Topics that will be discussed will include ethical pitfalls, motion practice, and general practice guidelines. All attendees will receive 1.0 Practice CLE Credits and .5 Ethics Credits.
