Young Lawyers Raise $4,000 For Children's Holiday Party, to Benefit Underprivileged Children in

Last night the Young Lawyers Division hosted the Annual ACBA Holiday Party at the Knife & Fork Inn in Atlantic City.

This year's party featured a holiday-themed cocktail (Pomegranate Martini), cheese and charcuterie table, two cash bars, and passed hor d'oeuvres. Seventy (70) members were in attendance this year and everyone seemed to be having a great time mingling and meeting new people. We also had a great raffle, thanks to our corporate sponsors:

Thanks to our sponsors and generous donors and all those who attended the party, the Young Lawyers Division was able to raise just over $4,000 for the Children's Holiday Party, which benefits local, underprivileged children in Atlantic County.

The money raised at the ACBA Holiday Party will be used to pay for all expenses associated with the Children's Holiday Party, which include school bus transportation, 300 gifts, wrapping materials, pizza and refreshments for lunch, dessert, pictures with Santa, goodie bags and more. For all of these children, a slice of hot pizza and a cupcake are a treasure, and for some of them, the gifts they receive from Santa at the Children's Holiday Party are the only gifts they receive all year.

This year, the Children's Holiday Party will take place on Friday, December 18th, from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Atlantic County Civil Courthouse (1201 Bacharach Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ) in the civil jury room. We invite any members of the ACBA to stop in to see what the holiday season is truly all about!
